Although that’s part of the idea, choosing the right outfit goes beyond that. Girls think that they are the only ones struggling to decide what to wear on a date, but when a guy is nervous about meeting up with the girl of his dreams, I’m confident he is also wondering what to wear on a date, specially if it’s his first date.
Crees que planear tu look para una cita es importante? Muchas personas piensan que vestirse para una cita, ya sea la primera, segunda o tercera cita se trata solamente de usar zapatos nuevos y lucir limpio y decente. Aunque eso es parte del plan, escoger tu atuendo correcto para tu cita va mucho mas allá que solo lucir nítido. Las mujeres creen que son las únicas preocupadas en lo que van a usar para su cita, pero cuando un hombre esta nervioso por conocer a la mujer de sus sueños, estoy segura que también se pregunta que podría vestir para su cita, especialmente cuando se trata de la primera cita.

Besides creating a first impression (when it comes to the first date), your outfit says a lot about yourself, your personality, and your well being. According to recent studies where men and women where interviewed, both genders agreed that one of the things that they first notice is their clothing. This has nothing to do with brands and labels, it is all about personal style.
Aunque no lo creas, lo que uses sera mas importante para la otra persona que para ti mismo! Ademas de crear la primera impresión (en caso de ser la primera cita), tu atuendo dice mucho sobre ti, tu personalidad y tu persona. De acuerdo a estudios recientes donde se entrevistaron a hombres y mujeres, ambos sexos acordaron en que una de las cosas que notan de primero en una cita es como anda vestida la otra persona. Esto no tiene nada que ver con la marca o precios, sino con el estilo que cada persona expresa.
When it comes to women, my first advice is: wear heels. You don’t have to wear super high heels. A woman with heels will show any guy that she is confident about herself when she walks, and also heels will make your body look skinnier. Try not to wear pumps for a date, since these are more appropriate shoes for parties. Slim heels will make you look more feminine, which is an important aspect when going out on a date! You can pick a trend and apply it to your date if you have issues deciding what to wear. In my case, I mixed two different prints and wore casual accesories so that my look could be the statement.
Cuando se trata de mujeres, el primer consejo es: usar tacones. No tienen que ser tacones altísimos, incluso pueden ser bajos. Una mujer con tacones muestra seguridad a la hora de caminar y ademas de esto su cuerpo se ve mas estilizado. Traten de no utilizar pumps para una cita porque son zapatos mas adecuados para salir de fiesta. Tacones finos con plataforma delgada realzan tu feminidad, aspecto muy importante a la hora de salir con tu chico! Puedes escoger una tendencia y aplicarla a tu cita si tienes problemas decidiendo que usar. En mi caso, combine 2 estampados completamente distintos y mantuve mis accesorios totalmente casuales para hacer de mi look el statement.

It’s crucial to choose clothes that match your body type so that you don’t look extra skinny or chubby 🙂 There are 2 important factors you need to take into account: wearing nice shoes and a long sleeve shirt. It doesn’t really matter if you wear jeans, in fact, mixing jeans with a long sleeve shirt looks amazing and way more attractive for a date. In this case, the model (my dear Erick Barberena) wore a long sleeve shirt with a sweater to get a preppy and fresh look.
CHICOS! Primero que todo le agradezco a Vicente Castellon – talentoso diseñador nicaragüense y asesor de modas – quien me brindo asesoría para el look del modelo y para todos los tips que estoy a punto de compartirles. Es muy importante escoger ropa que vaya con tu cuerpo y no te haga ver ni muy delgado ni muy rellenito 🙂 Hay 2 puntos básicos importantes: utilizar zapatos de vestir y una camisa manga larga, no importa si usas jeans o pantalones de vestir. De hecho, si vas a utilizar una camisa manga larga, al combinarla con jeans tendrás algo mas versátil y atractivo para una cita. En este caso, se utilizo una camisa manga larga blanca con un suéter encima, para aquellos que tienen un estilo un poco mas preppy y fresco.
Este outfit se creo para lucir en un restaurante de lujo! En este caso fuimos al restaurante Factory ubicado en el Hotel Intercontinental Metrocentro! Cuenta con el ambiente ideal para celebrar tu aniversario, compromiso, o incluso tu primera cita! Y si quieres darle una sorpresa a esa persona especial, el personal es super amable y esta a tu disposición para cualquier ayuda que necesites en el caso de los compromisos 🙂
