This is a very exciting post for me because it’s my very FIRST food review…meaning I’ve officially become a #foodie π I’m always sharing my favorite dishes and restaurants with everyone through my social media, but for some reason I thought that wasn’t enough, so I decided to create my own foodie section in the blog. Not only will I provide recommendations, but I will enjoy every second while doing it. To open up my new section, I decided to tell you about my first tap in NYC.
I recently visited TAP NYC, located near central park (I’ll provide with address and more details at the end of this post). TAP NYC is a Brazilian restaurant offering a healthy and delicious menu. I ordered two different dishes because of course, I need to share the more I can so you have more options.
The first plate I tried was the so famous “brazilian tapioca” and OMG it was the most scrumptious thing ever! Just to think about it makes me want to come back. This was a mushroom tapioca with extra chicken and best of all, it had avocado π I accompanied this one with a cornmeal cake and cheese bread. Please don’t let me get started with these two because I’m never gonna end.
This was my first time trying Tapioca and I was happy to know this is a gluten-free meal with no sodium, so sugar, no fat and no preservatives. This means, you’ll be eating healthy and keeping the shape of your body. After learning this, I’m definitely becoming a tapioca lover. They had sweet and salty tapiocas, but I decided not to go for sweet because I like sugar only when it comes to dessert not the main deal, but feel free to try the sweet ones, they looked yummy yummy.
Because I love acai bowls, I ordered one as my second meal. I had the master acai bowl (To be honest I can’t remember if that was the exact name but I know for sure mine was the biggest one in the menu lol). The acai was frozen and delicious and it came with fruits, coconut and granola.
And obviously, I had my #coffeeoftheday before I left which was great BTW
I hope you liked my first official foodie post and I’ll have many more…you can be sure about that π Don’t forget to visit TAP NYC and tell me what you think!
